About the role

Autarco is looking for a Dutch native speaking Account Manager. The account manager deals with sales inquiries from customers, provides solar PV system designs and quotes and drives repeated business. Through the use of Autarco tools and guidelines, the Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are well designed and complete in line with Autarco principles.

Based on their dealings with accounts, the Account Manager will be expected to provide input into sales process improvement and related IT development. You grow turnover from existing dealer relationships (accounts), provide sales support service including PV system design support, and manage relationships with accounts. 

Diary of our Account Manager…

My agenda for today is swamped with meetings with potential wholesalers and dealers in the Northern part of the Netherlands. I’m dropping by three of my oldest clients for some catch ups, and will walk through our updated software-function with them as well. Those meetings are always beneficial. I often get new orders out of them, and our clients are the perfect source of feedback to improve our products! I’ll make sure to schedule an office-brewed coffee with the software guys to tell them about the first impressions of our software update. There’s one more meeting scheduled with a potential client who mentioned she lost some deals to a competitor who does sell Autarco’s solutions, so her company is interested to hear what all the good noise is about! I’m calling it a (successful) day after that!

We do not expect you to tick all of the boxes, but to be comfortable with some and eager to develop yourself in all aspects.

  • Eagerness to score deals and to keep them
  • 2 years of business development/sales experience
  • Native Dutch speaker is an absolute must
  • Enthusiasm for solar power and renewable energy
  • Willingness to work in the office in Eindhoven
