Your role as Battery Specialist
As our Battery Specialist, you will be the go-to technical expert for everything related to battery systems. You will play a key role in supporting our dealers, sales engineers, and field service teams with your in-depth knowledge of battery storage technology. Your expertise will directly impact product reliability, customer satisfaction, and continuous innovation across our energy storage solutions.
Your responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and service teams regarding battery-related issues.

Diagnose and troubleshoot battery system failures, and provide 2nd-line support for solar PV systems.

Provide both remote and on-site technical assistance for complex system issues.

Collaborate closely with the Product team to escalate and resolve critical technical challenges.
Customer & Field Service Support:

Support customers with installation, commissioning, EMS integration, and battery system maintenance.

Deliver training sessions to customers, service technicians, and partners on battery technologies and best practices.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, service manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Assist with warranty assessments and failure analysis.
Sales Engineering Support:

Provide technical expertise on battery systems to support the sales team and customers.

Advise on system design, EMS functionality, and integration strategies.

Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients and partners.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration:

Provide product feedback to improve performance, reliability, and customer experience.

Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies in energy storage.

Support BMS integration with third-party EMS platforms to ensure smooth interoperability.

Analyze field data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Your competencies
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience with battery systems, energy storage, or power electronics.

Strong understanding of lithium-ion, lead-acid, and other battery chemistries.

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues both remotely and on-site.

Hands-on experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) and system diagnostics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.

Strong communication skills and experience in customer-facing technical roles.

Professional proficiency in English. Dutch is a strong plus.
Preferred qualifications:

Experience in industrial battery systems, preferably in renewable energy storage.

Familiarity with industry standards (PGS, IEC, UL, ISO, etc.).

Experience with remote monitoring tools and performance data analysis.
