Solar panels provide high kWh yields in spring 2020

High yields in the spring
Solar panels have shown a high yield since the first day of spring 2020. Compared to a similar period in recent years, the yield was almost 40% higher. Thanks to Autarco’s accurate monitoring software, this was clearly visible.

Yields (grey line indicates average of previous 4 years)
The global radiation was also clearly higher than the average (grey line). It can also be seen that the direct component of the radiation made a much larger contribution than in previous years.

Important factors
The high yield are caused by a combination of factors:
- Favourable weather conditions of fairly cold weather with a dry easterly wind which meant there was little cloud cover
- The extraordinary measures taken by the government from 15 March onwards have significantly reduced air and car traffic
